What we do NOT collect

  • Payment information — all transactions are processed by NOWPayments, our third-party payment provider. We never receive or store your payment credentials.
  • Cryptocurrency wallet addresses — these are processed pseudonymously by NOWPayments and are not stored by Genghis.
  • Government-issued identity documents — we do not require KYC verification.

3. Purpose of Data Processing

Order fulfilment

To process your purchase, deliver your digital product, and provide customer support.

Platform security and fraud prevention

To detect and prevent fraudulent activity, protect user accounts, and maintain platform integrity.

Analytics and service improvement

To understand how users interact with the platform and improve our services. This is done using aggregated, anonymised data where possible.

Analytics and marketing tools

Data is shared with the analytics and advertising providers listed in Section 5 for performance monitoring and ad optimisation, subject to your cookie preferences.

Email communications

We use email service providers to deliver order confirmations and, where consented, promotional communications. These providers are bound by data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.

7. Data Transfers Outside the EU/EEA

Some of our third-party service providers — including analytics and advertising tools — may operate outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where such transfers occur, we ensure that adequate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK GDPR and EU GDPR requirements (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).

Payment-related data processed by NOWPayments involves only pseudonymous blockchain transaction identifiers, which minimises privacy impact.

  • Order-related data — retained for up to 10 years to comply with UK legal and tax obligations.
  • Marketing data — retained until you withdraw consent or request deletion.
  • Analytics data — retained according to the individual tool provider's data retention settings (typically 14 months for GA4).
  • Account data — retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
